Gravel consisting of inert material that is hard, durable stone and coarse sand free from loam and clay. The amount of processed gravel will vary from job to job depending on the condition of the subgrade. Your estimator will advice you of the best amount to use. It is usually recommended that 6-8'' are used before Bituminous Concrete (asphalt) is applied.
